The Whyalla office of Hume Taylor & Co has been open since late 1987. It was originally staffed by Richard Deegan, a skilled solicitor working mainly in criminal and family law, who was sadly killed in Whyalla Airlines crash of May 2000.

After his death, the office remained open to allow Hume Taylor & Co to continue to service our loyal clients in the area. Since then Jessica Budden and Linda Sampson have been other long serving solicitors.

Our current lawyer in Whyalla is Matthew Rismondo, who can assist with all your legal needs. He is backed by extensive experience in the Adelaide office, but has an interest in Criminal Law, Wills and Estates, Family Law and litigation.

Several of our Adelaide solicitors, including the partners, also regularly travel to and practise from our Whyalla office.

Many business and families have been with us for generations, including through a more recent difficult period. We remain committed to Whyalla and the surrounding areas, and we look forward to being of service in the exciting times ahead.

When engaging a lawyer, clients want to be able to develop a working relationship with their lawyer. But they also want a professional advocate who is 100% in their corner. By choosing Hume Taylor & Co, you get the best of both worlds: a local friendly team, backed by the experience and expertise of lawyers in the Adelaide office.
