Rod was admitted to both the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court in 1977, the same year he joined the predecessor firm to Hume Taylor & Co.<\/p>\n
His extensive experience covers a range of areas of law, but Rod specialises mainly in Commercial & Business Law, Securities, Trusts, Wills, Estates and Succession Planning, Probate & Estate Administration, Property Law and Conveyancing. Whilst Rod continues to assist the firm as a consultant, he no longer works on matters directly.<\/p>\n
Rod is now keenly involved with STEP, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners – advising families across generations.\u00a0 Council members elected him as a Director on the STEP Board in London from 1 January 2021 until 2026, and he is now a Deputy Chair of STEP Worldwide since 2023.<\/p>\n
In his spare time, he enjoys trekking, travelling and surfing.<\/p>\n
