We’re excited to announce that our long term Secretary in Millicent, Zoë Thwaites, is now a registered conveyancer!
Zoë has been a legal secretary with us for over 20 years, having only short periods off when she had each of her three children. Shortly after starting she was introduced to conveyancing by then partner, Robin Watts. Over time he taught her enough that she become the teacher to new staff!
A few years ago Zoë was looking for a further challenge and decided to undertake study to become a registered conveyancer. Always wanting to improve, she wanted to expand on the knowledge she had already learned over the last 20 years. Zoë says “I love being able to offer clients a local face to help guide them through one of the biggest sales or purchases of their lives”.
For clients, it’s great being able to deal with the same person from start to finish. Plus, you can rest assured knowing any issues that may arise out of the purchase/sale can be dealt with by your local Hume Taylor & Co lawyer, Tasman Wylie.
