Originally admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania and the High Court in 1979, Ester was then admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 1987. Her extensive experience has included a number of different roles across varying disciplines of law, but now practices predominantly in Personal Injury and Medical Negligence and Civil Litigation.
Ester has been involved in a number of large Cerebral Palsy medical negligence claims and received outstanding results for her clients.

In the past, she was also the pro bono legal representative on the Human Research & Ethics Committee (Clinical Trials) of the Queen Elizabeth, Modbury and Lyell McEwin Hospitals, the Deputy President of the Guardianship Board and a sessional Member in the Community Stream of the South Australian Civil & Administrative Tribunal.
Ester is a member of the Law Society.
